Mike BakerMike Baker began working as a part-time instructor of electrical apprenticeship classes in 1997 at Clackamas Community College and then in 2002 accepted the position of Training Director for the Automatic Fire Alarm Association. As Training Director, Michael develops building code and fire alarm seminars and presents them in approximately 40 different cities throughout the USA every year. Michael is an Oregon Journeyman Limited Energy Electrician, a Master Specialty Electrician in Washington, and NICET certified level IV in Fire Alarm Systems. He is a member of the NFPA 72 Chapter 5 (Initiating Devices) technical committee. Michael has written several NICET test preparation handbooks and he edits the ETNEWS.org website and newsletter. Al ColomboAl Colombo is an award winning trade journalist and book author in the electronic and physical security and life safety markets. He also is Director of U.S. Veteran Information (non-governmental) and owner of Thunder Promotions.
