    From traffic-cams to smoking bans,
    How the USA was lost.
    Not even knowing how quickly it happened,
    Or just how many Freedoms it cost.

    Press one for English, two for hold,
    Just wimpy Americans doing what they’re told.
    The Big Mac, the Happy Meal and the Whopper with Coke,
    May all soon be banned and it ain’t no joke.

    We surrendered our lives to the government kings,
    Who said they knew best, and could provide all things.
    Being politically correct is now the norm,
    As we let our enemies take America by storm.

    The fatal attraction of affirmative action has sidetracked our engine of growth.
    Our socialist leaders have derailed our nation as each liar has taken their oath.

    Our patriot fathers are disturbed from their rest,
    As we modern Americans have fallen short in our test.
    How could you have been so naive, they would say,
    To have just thrown all your freedoms away?

    We gave you the blueprint for this land of the free,
    As we were led by our God and Savior, who died on that tree.
    We shed our own blood in the hope that you,
    Would protect and treasure this liberty too.

    But now we cower to the EPA, the IRS, and the TSA.
    While they rob us and grope us, we just calmly obey,
    As we’ve all been programmed that it’s really Okay.

    At home, at work, or driving our cars,
    We’re owned by Obama and his 42 czars.
    They tell us what to eat, what to drive, how to think and what to say,
    How sad it is that ‘We The People’ have allowed all this today.

    We sold our soul to the government dole,
    We’re no longer the free and the brave.
    Just look at us now, and you can’t figure how,
    We became slaves from the cradle to grave?

    The Tea party caused some to awaken,
    It may be too late, but I hope I’m mistaken.
    Is life under slavery really our fate?
    Or will we be freed somehow at some later date?

    Wake up and pray, America, let your voice now be heard.
    To God we must confess our sins, and don’t withhold one word.
    Then rejoice in the courage upon which our forefathers stood,
    Let the eternal light of Freedom defeat evil with good.
