41. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42. For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43. I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45. Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

~~ Matthew: 25: 41-46

Where Are The Answers?

I’ll bet that the enemies of God are basking in their presumed victory in the demise of Terri Schiavo. They will most likely begin crowing that they were able to defeat the ‘religious right,’ the governor of Florida, the U.S. Congress, and the President of the United States. I’m sure our enemies knew even before the battle lines were drawn in the Schiavo case that they could most assuredly depend on their leftist allies in the judicial branch of our government. The judicial branch... You know; that out-of-control band of state and federal magistrate thugs who have ascribed themselves with powers above that which was set forth by our founding fathers in The Constitution of The United States.

The Supreme Court and our lower courts have been allowed to ‘bend’ the meaning of existing laws, and have been permitted to formulate their own NEW laws instead of holding to the task of merely formulating OPINIONS regarding the application of EXISTING laws! Their leftist/socialist agenda has gone practically unopposed for decades now. So much so, that the uninitiated to the judicial process would assume that this is the way it has always been. But the damage to, and the corruption of, our American moral fiber by these renegade judges may be irreversible if counter measures are not soon initiated.

In the rulings on abortion, gay rights, and the ban on the public display of The Ten Commandments, it would appear that the enemies of God have already won. If “We The People” are too stupid and too cowardly to do anything about it, they will have won indeed. In the case of Terri Schiavo, have they actually defeated the religious right, and God Himself? Did our Lord God turn a deaf ear to our continued prayers for Terri? I think not.

But how do we answer our enemies, or others who sincerely question whether God even bothers to listen to our prayers anymore? Would a merciful God allow such suffering as Ms Schiavo had to endure?

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:"
1st Peter: 3:15

Although our Father God through His Spirit and His own perfect son, Jesus, in times past and present, has moved in wondrous ways of healing and deliverance, He really enjoys working His wonders of love and mercy by the hands of men and women whom He has CALLED to serve in a particular situation. This form of answered prayer was best explained by a Rabbi who related an account of one of the survivors of a WWII Nazi concentration camp.

When the survivor was interviewed by a news reporter about his ordeal in the death camp, the question came up as to whether he ever asked God why He did not come to rescue him and his fellow Jewish prisoners before so many had died. The old man replied that the question that [he] asked was: “Where were the MEN that God CALLED to rescue me, but did not ANSWER?”

How many of our judges, legislators, and others of authority were CALLED by God, but DID NOT ANSWER? Some of these staunch politicians and judges even claim to be Christians. Shame on them!

So, before we try to pin the blame on God for the horrible forced starvation death of Terri Schiavo, we need to examine the motives of those who had the power to intervene, but either lacked the courage to act or chose to disobey God’s calling altogether. Our Almighty God is a loving and merciful God. But He is also a just and righteous God who, in some cases, must allow the martyrdom of some very good souls in order to expose the corruption and sins of those in power.

I would say that it’s about time that we Americans had learned our lesson. We must let our elected legislators know, in no uncertain terms, that the tyrannical grip of power laid upon us by our unelected judges must come to an end! Although all of our judges have not bowed to the corrupted interpretation and formulation of our laws, far too many have not answered the call to put an end to this miscarriage of justice, and return to the Constitutional “balance of power” between our legislative, executive and judicial branches of our government.

May God help us (U.S.)!
