Although the Fox News network sometimes goes a little too far, too often, in its attempt at being "fair and balanced," by allowing the left to express their views, I still prefer Fox over the other TV news networks.
I seriously doubt that you would be able to witness anything even close to the following two accounts by the 'reporters' or show 'hosts' on the other networks:
If you remember the news story from several weeks ago, where there was a plane crash in the mountains... and the wreckage of the plane was so mangled that the crew of a helicopter that was dispatched to the scene determined that there could NOT have been ANY survivors. And since the weather was extremely severe, no search party was deployed. Well, as it turned out, by some miracle, there were TWO survivors who actually WALKED AWAY from the crash.
This was very good news for sure. But when the survivors were interviewed by Fox News reporter, John Kasic, what I heard after the interview was over just about floored me. Kasic made, in effect, the following statement to the survivors: (Paraphrased as well as I can remember)
{ Please listen to what I am about to say. The Lord has brought you through a window for some specific reason or purpose in your life. You must seek out what that purpose is, and follow it. }
Mr Kasic was not at all flippant in his remark. He was dead serious. I could detect his sincereity
by the tone of his voice, which had changed in inflection from that of the preceding interview.
How often will you hear a news reporter from a major broadcast network offer a word of knowledge from the Lord? Just don’t try to hold your breath until it happens.
Then as a kicker, on the Fox Sunday morning show today, during a discussion of family bloodlines, one of the show hosts stated that he, as a Christian, was able to quote a scripture from the Book of Genesis to make his point, which he did quite well.
It appears that we do have some "friends at Fox."
