HOUSE (and SENATE) CLEANING:
The Mark Foley Incident
I am greatly amused by the chain of events that led to the revelation that Rep. Mark Foley (R) had apparently sent sexually oriented e-mail messages to a male page assigned to the House of Representatives.
Could this be the big “October surprise” promised by our wonderful friends in the Democrat party? You bet it is!
Some observations by Ann Coulter:
“The object lesson of Foley's inappropriate e-mails to male pages is that when a Republican congressman is caught in a sex scandal, he immediately resigns and crawls off into a hole in abject embarrassment. Democrats get snippy.” ...
...”In 1983, Democratic Rep. Gerry Studds was found to have sexually propositioned House pages and actually buggered a 17-year-old male page whom he took on a trip to Portugal. The 46-year-old Studds indignantly attacked those who criticized him for what he called a "mutually voluntary, private relationship between adults." ...
...”But now, the same Democrats who are incensed that Bush's National Security Agency was listening in on al-Qaeda phone calls are incensed that Republicans were not reading a gay congressman's instant messages.”
We could write a whole chapter about dear old Barney (fag) Frank. Do you remember how quick the Dems and their comrades in the media were to sweep aside Frank’s 1989 involvement in a sex-for-hire ring operated from within his home? I do.
Oh! I almost forgot that great moral icon of the Oval Office, William Jefferson Clinton; the man who made it necessary to discuss ORAL SEX at family dinner tables all across the country.
But now it appears that we are going to see some more two-faced Republicans exposed, who have ignored the call from their conservative base, and have fallen into the politically-correct crap trap by helping their little gay friends camouflage their perverted lifestyle while in office.
It will be fun now to watch the panic in both major political parties, as they begin to parade their spokespersons before the TV cameras, and attempt to convince the viewing audience that “they” will get to the bottom of this, and then they will utter their feeble little promises to restore an order of morals and decency to our nation’s capital.
But with all sarcasm aside, maybe this will become a light at the end of the conservative tunnel. Just maybe the Foley incident will bring to light the negative outcome of our loose and corrupted political morals. Just maybe this incident will expose the vulnerability to coercion and blackmail that exists when our elected and appointed government leaders have been engaged in a perverted or corrupt life-style.
As in the U.S. military, with its “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy for gays, there will always be that doubt as to exactly where the true loyalty of a gay or lesbian would be when approached by a well trained enemy operative. The risk of compromise to our national security and balance of political power under the Constitution has been elevated under the leadership of the politically-correct.
It is time for a thorough HOUSE ( and SENATE) CLEANING! It’s time to send a message, LOUD and CLEAR, to our leaders; from Washington, on down to our local city councils, that November 2006 marks the place in time where ‘We the People’ are going to take our country back!
