    John:14:2:
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

    WHERE IS THE CHRISTIAN BACKLASH?

When the story of “the lost tomb of Jesus” broke in the news, there was an amazing calm and quietness as Christians and other theologians around the world made their tranquil response to this so called scientific finding.

The documentary to be released by James Cameron and Simcha Jacobovici claims that they have found the tomb of Jesus Christ, and that His brother, His mother, His wife Mary Magdalene, and their son were all buried there.

If the methods and motives used to attain these “findings” are to be examined closely, I’m sure that a modern-day scam, encouraged by the blogosphere will be exposed.

But had this “finding” been related to the prophet Mohammed, and had shed even a hint of doubt or negativity upon him or his teachings, can you imagine the violent backlash from the Islamic world? There would have been world-wide marches and protests. There would have been hostages taken and executed (most of which would have been beheaded!

The Cameron, Jacobovici story more than implies that the resurrection of Jesus and His Deity, which is the basic core of Christianity, and our eternal hope, was based on false information. Information that has held true for 2,000 years now, but is always subject to negative scrutiny by non-believers and the enemies of Christ.

    But in a politically-correct world, I guess that’s Okay.
