QUESTIONS THE 9/11 COMMISSION FAILED TO ASK JANET RENO:

Unlike the intense interrogation of national security adviser Condoleezza Rice in her testimony before the 9/11 Panel, former attorney general, Janet Reno only had to field soft-ball questions during her turn at bat.
As I watched the televised proceedings today, the thought occurred to me that it would have been very interesting to hear the Federal Commission panelists ask Ms Reno some more pointed questions... such as:

    1. Ms Reno, please describe the plan devised by the Clintons to rush through your appointment as Attorney General without the required FBI background check and no actual Senate review?

    2. Do you believe that the tyrannical gun control laws that you and the Clinton administration forced upon law-abiding American citizens succeeded in making our nation safe against Islamic terrorism?

    3. Were you satisfied that the killing of those 80 innocent souls in the Waco, Texas massacre finally rid our society of the danger of terrorism?

    4. How would have your proposed DNA database on Americans deflected the planes that struck the World Trade Center and the Pentagon?

    5. Were you sober when you made the decision to send Elian Gonzalez back to Cuba?

    6. Why did you refuse the FBI’s wiretap request when the agency wanted to monitor Los Alamos espionage suspect Wen Ho Lee, seeing that you gave the Okay for almost 2,700 other such requests?

    7. Why did you ignore the FBI’s request to appoint an independent counsel to investigate whether Bill Clinton sold America's most sensitive nuclear and military secrets for campaign cash?

    8. Can you sleep at night knowing that you failed to fully investigate the apparent murder of Vince Foster?

    Any further questions?

May God grant us (U.S.) WISDOM!
