MODERN-DAY SLAVERY
MODERN-DAY SLAVERY
February 25, 2001
Most of us, if questioned about Christians being tortured,
slaughtered, and forced into slavery in these modern times,
would most likely ask in doubting... where, and by whom?
In the country of Sudan, on the African continent, that is
exactly what has been going on for two decades. And, other
than a few brave men of God, no one or no government has
had the courage or compassion to intercede-- not even the
U.S. Government.
There have been approximately 1.5 million black Christians
killed and many more millions displaced and enslaved into
concentration camps near the northern border of Sudan since
the warring Sunni Muslims began their hate campaign almost
twenty years ago. When the Christian settlements are raided,
all the men and mature males who could pose any possible
resistance to the Muslims are slaughtered. The women and
children are captured as slaves-- many of the young girls
and women are raped and tortured!
When the male children start to mature, and are considered
a threat to their slave masters, they are also killed.
The "few brave men of God" that I mentioned are the
missionaries supported by the ministries of Pastor Rod
Parsley (Breakthrough) http://www.breakthrough.net/
and Dr. D. James Kennedy (Coral Ridge Ministries)
http://www.coralridge.org/ .
These valiant soldiers in the field are risking their own lives
in order to rescue and reunite the people enslaved by the
Muslims. THEY DESPERATELY NEED OUR HELP!
I urge you to contact one of these ministries, and offer
your aid. For very little money, a slave can be freed.
Could you just for a moment, imagine placing yourself in such
peril, not knowing if you would ever see your loved ones
again! Can you feel the panic and anguish? It is dreadfully
real to the Christians in Sudan.
PLEASE send your prayers and your love offerings as soon as
possible!
{Mathew:25:40:
And the King shall answer and say unto them,
Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.}
May God Bless You,
