All of us carry in our intestinal tracts a complex ecosystem of microbes. These bacteria are highly important to our health, providing us with protection against intestinal infection, supplying us with additional nutritional value from the food we eat, and contributing to the development of our immune system. In fact repopulation of the gut microflora, after or during antibiotic therapy is accomplished thru OTC or prescription lactobacilli formulations. The flip-side is that disturbances in this ecosystem can leave us more vulnerable to exogenous and endogenous intestinal infections.
Lacto bacilli taken as a probiotic supplementation, may also concurrently be travelling with colloidal silver through the digestive tract. The concept of ingesting live organism for the purpose of improving ones intestinal health and general well being is around as old as curds (yogurt) to capsules of Lacto bacilli.
Question 1: Does this 'Top Gun (colloidal silver), that destroys more than 900 pathogenic microbes spares the "good guys" - intestinal Lacto bacilli flora.?
Question 2: And if indeed it spares Lacto bacilli then the question arises how does it distinguish between good and the toxic.?
Question 3: Isnt the mechanism to spare the good bacteria applicable to pathogenic bacteria?
This report answers the first question while study is well into answering Questions 2 and 3.
2.Aim
To confirm the hypothesis that ASAP silver solutions are not toxic to Probiotics such as:

[Editors notes: ASAP-10, ASAP-22, and AGX-32 (Hospital Spray Disinfectant) are sold to Doctors , Clinics, and Hospitals in the USA. Silver Biotics is a brand name for ASAP-10 sold by Health Food Stores and Chiropractors. All these products come from American Biotech Labs in the USA. Call 888-745-0848 for assistance. This report has far reaching implications. One might be for" C-Dif" ,which is a devastating " Hospital Infection" that is constantly near epidemic in many Hospitals and Nursing Homes. It might be found that drinking ASAP-10 , 2 ounces at a time ,3 times a day for 2 or 3 days, wipes it out. This would be a safe and easy Hospital Trial that someone should do like" ASAP " . It might also be found that giving patients only small amounts of ASAP, 10ml, morning and night when they check in to a Hospital will prevent the conditions that , according to the CDC, lead up to C-Dif. It should always be given undiluted and on an empty stomach. Upon receiving this report from VIRIDIS, I made a phone call to find they only tested ASAP. They did not test any other silver products. ASAP differs greatly in physical properties and activities from "Colloidal" silver. We can not say that because ASAP will not harm Lactobacillus, therefore all colloidal silver products will not harm Lactobacillus. Each product would have to be tested individually. 7. Conclusion
ASAP solutions at both 10 & 22 ppm concentrations have not demonstrated anti-probiotic activity. ASAP 14 ppm with 1.5% 1-1202 shows appreciable killing of all the strains tested presumably due to H202.
The results bring forth ASAP as an "antibiotic of choice", natur~it antibiotic, with firstly no side effects such as diarrhea and infact will not disturb the bodys natural host defense mechanism. It indeed complements therapy by sparing essential host inicroflora as well as concomittant oral lactobacilli therapy normally given as an adjunct.
