Capt D's Message

The Message, presented by Capt. D, Durwin with his sidekick Sam, or Dur by himself, gives students both a comical and dramatic presentation of the dangers of the 3 D's. Durwin freely discusses his real-life experience which resulted in the loss of his right arm. Readily stating that he would rather still have it, he turns his misfortune around, through the Capt. D character, teaching students that setbacks can often be overcome by positive and creative thinking.
